Very interesting

This is a great learning app. You may know some of the words but not all. The daily quiz sets this app apart from others. It really helps you learn them instead of only seeing them once.

I feel strongly to leave a high five to this app. This is the best vocab learning app out there after carefully tested out a bunch of others. It captures the five key elements of effective learning: visually, audio, relevancy, plot and story connections. How about adding some interactivity to the next version of this app? I hope that we can add an erasable drawing board for learners to practice the word in writing as they hear the word as well.

Its a great app w/ a lot of sophisticated words. And the pics, examples, and audio are wonderful. However, it doesnt get a fifth star from me b/c I would like to know the other forms of the words so they would be easier to incorporate into conversation and even easier to learn. But its a great app. Id recommend it.

A great app. but not many words. nust buy the SAT VOCAB.

I enjoy the app and the push notifications telling me I have a new word. The daily quiz reinforces memorization of the words and the example provides context. Id recommend the app to anyone.

Pretty much everything you would expect an app like this to be. I am very satisfied.

I am so happy with this app :). One of my new year resolutions was to build my vocabulary with a word a day. I started looking at apps Jan 1st and this was by far the best. The app notifies me everyday at the time I choose that I have a new word. It had pictures, examples of how the word is used and an audio choice so you can hear how the word is pronounced. You can take a quiz on all the words you have learned and can even skip a word of you already know it. This is exactly what I was looking for. A+ for this app. :)

You do not want this app. If you have an ipad, iPhone, or iPod...Im pretty sure you already know these words

I own many many apps designed to increase my vocabulary, but this app has become my favorite. The explanations and graphics definitely help me retain the meaning. OUTSTANDING vocabulary app!!!!! I love it!!!

Ive been using this app for a few months now, and know most of the vocab words already. Today, the vocabulary word of the day was "beam", which is really the last straw for me. Dont bother using this app if you actually want to learn new words.

The ability to have it give you acronyms and such (as shown in the preview pictures) appears broken. All that comes up is a black box with nothing in it. Other than that, the app is basic. Basic definitions, basic lay out, basically pretty boring. The cartoon art is a lackluster attempt to add some humour to it, but they really should have gone for all fun or all serious. Added to the bug and I want my money back. (Despite some reviews, not all the words are basic, but the ones that arent tend to be ones you will never use!)
